    Join People First of Corvallis, a welcoming and inclusive self-advocacy group for individuals in the intellectual and developmental disabilities community. This monthly meeting provides a safe space to connect, share experiences, build skills, and advocate for positive change together. Meetings are held on the fourth Friday of each month from 5:00–6:00 PM at the Corvallis Community Center (Oak Room), 2601 NW Tyler Ave. The space is ADA accessible, and snacks and drinks are provided.     Celebrate summer at the Marion County Fair, returning to the Oregon State Fairgrounds in Salem from July 9–12, 2026. This beloved annual event brings the community together for four days of fun with live entertainment, carnival rides, 4-H and FFA exhibits, contests, vendors, and classic fair food favorites. From animal exhibits and hands-on activities to main stage performances and family-friendly attractions, there’s something for all ages to enjoy. Special themed days, live music, and nonstop activities make it a perfect outing for families, friends, and community members alike. Fair hours vary by day, with festivities running Thursday noon–10 PM, Friday and Saturday 10 AM–11 PM, and Sunday 10 AM–6 PM. Don’t miss this chance to celebrate the “Made in Marion” spirit and experience one of the region’s favorite summer traditions.
