Join People First of Corvallis, a welcoming and inclusive self-advocacy group for individuals in the intellectual and developmental disabilities community. This monthly meeting provides a safe space to connect, share experiences, build skills, and advocate for positive change together. Meetings are held on the fourth Friday of each month from 5:00–6:00 PM at the Corvallis Community Center (Oak Room), 2601 NW Tyler Ave. The space is ADA accessible, and snacks and drinks are provided. Seen. Heard. Believed. – Spellers & Typers Advocacy Summit Join the Autism Mustang Alliance for a powerful day of connection, empowerment, and advocacy at the Spellers & Typers Advocacy Summit. This event centers the voices of nonspeaking, minimally speaking, and unreliably speaking autistic individuals, providing a space to advocate for the right to be understood, supported, and fully included. Curated and directed by a nonspeaking autistic advocate and writer, the summit offers opportunities to learn, connect, and uplift self-advocacy in a supportive and inclusive environment.
