    OSAC Monthly Advocate Meetings Join OSAC for Advocate Meetings held on the first Friday of every month from 2:00–4:00 PM.     Adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their caregivers are invited to come learn, create, and find community! Programs for Accessible Learning (PAL) lasts one hour and usually follows this schedule: Sensory-friendly storytime with puppets, songs, and bubbles (15 minutes) July's themed group activity: Learn about Disability Pride Month, participate in a guided chair dance party, and celebrate with some cake or sugar-free treats! (20-30 minutes) Creativity stations (adult coloring pages, Lego building) (15-20 Minutes) All materials provided. Registration is required. Please register each participant. Participants are asked to attend with a caregiver. An American Sign Language interpreter will be present whenever possible. Free. This program is supported by the Salem Public Library Foundation and the Friends of the Salem Public Library. This event will be presented in English.     Join Oregon COAAST Network’s Self-Advocacy Group, a welcoming monthly meet-up for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. Held every third Tuesday from 1:30–2:30 PM, this group offers a supportive space to connect, share experiences, and build self-advocacy skills. Parents are encouraged to attend with youth ages 13 and under. Registration is required, and Spanish-language services are available.

The event kicks off with a BBQ favorites potluck from 5:30–6:30 PM, followed by the SPARC meeting from 6:30–7:30 PM. Bring a dish to share and enjoy good food while connecting with others who are passionate about self-advocacy and community inclusion. A virtual option is also available for the meeting portion beginning at 6:30 PM via Google Meet (access may be limited). All are welcome!
