An annual health and safety fair, Riverfront Family Fest is free to attend and features 65 vendors and family-friendly activities focused on increasing the quality of life for children and parents in our community. Held at Salem's Riverfront Parkย the first Saturday of eachย August, Riverfront Family Fest is one of the largest child-friendly community events in Salem with nearly 4,000 parents and children each year. Thisย health and safety resource fairย is free to attend. With a range of family-friendly activities, Riverfront Park comes to life, providing a safe and fun place for families to spend time with each other and to build new relationships with other community members.

Join ODDS leadership on Zoom to share your feedback and experiences. All are welcome to attend these virtual meetings. Each month will have a different topic or focus.ย They meet every first Wednesday of the month from noon to 1 p.m.ย No registration required. These events are facilitated by the Partnership and Accessibility Resource Unit. Date: August 6th Time: noon to 1 p.m. How to attend:ย Use this link to open the Zoom meeting. They also invite you to send your questions or feedback ahead of time using theย feedback form. You can fill it out in Arabic, English, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Somali, Spanish and Vietnamese. Deadline: Please send your questions by 8 a.m. on the Monday before the meeting. You donโt have to submit a question to attend the meeting. You can also ask new questions during the meeting. The Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians hosts and invites all to come join & celebrate their annual Nesika Illahee Pow-Wow.ย The celebration takes place in the heart of the Siletz reservation in the town of Siletz, Oregon.ย Every summer during the second weekend in August, Native & Non-Native people from all over the United States & further gather here to take part in the annual Nesika Illahee Pow-Wow. For three days the community, situated on the central Oregon coast is transformed. On display is traditional dancing, drumming, and singing from all over Indigenous America and further.ย The gathering has an array of vendors that represents the many facets of Indigenous American Arts, Crafts and Cuisine. The Pauline Ricks Memorial Pow-Wow grounds on Government Hill becomes the beating heart of our community. The Nesika Illahee Pow-Wow is a Drug and alcohol-free event. We are not responsible for accidents, lost or stolen items.
