An annual health and safety fair, Riverfront Family Fest is free to attend and features 65 vendors and family-friendly activities focused on increasing the quality of life for children and parents in our community. Held at Salem's Riverfront Park the first Saturday of each August, Riverfront Family Fest is one of the largest child-friendly community events in Salem with nearly 4,000 parents and children each year. This health and safety resource fair is free to attend. With a range of family-friendly activities, Riverfront Park comes to life, providing a safe and fun place for families to spend time with each other and to build new relationships with other community members.
This year, Wine Country Pride is hosting their annual Street Fair, “Pride on Third” on Sunday, August 3rd, right on Third Street in McMinnville! Join them for a day of resources, fun, and celebration.
Join ODDS leadership on Zoom to share your feedback and experiences. All are welcome to attend these virtual meetings. Each month will have a different topic or focus. They meet every first Wednesday of the month from noon to 1 p.m. No registration required. These events are facilitated by the Partnership and Accessibility Resource Unit. Date: August 6th Time: noon to 1 p.m. How to attend: Use this link to open the Zoom meeting. They also invite you to send your questions or feedback ahead of time using the feedback form. You can fill it out in Arabic, English, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Somali, Spanish and Vietnamese. Deadline: Please send your questions by 8 a.m. on the Monday before the meeting. You don’t have to submit a question to attend the meeting. You can also ask new questions during the meeting. If they can’t answer your question during the meeting, a staff member will get back to you via email. If you want privacy, you can also ask them to respond by email.

It is comprised of, and governed by, self-advocates who make all the decisions that govern the activities, finances, time and education of its members. SPARC meets once a month to discuss local- and national-level issues that affect people with disabilities and advise policymakers.
