  • Pride in the Park (Salem)

    Join Salem Capital Pride for its 49th year of bringing the LGBTQIA2S+ community together, with Pride in the Park 2026! Our casual community celebration of Pride is bigger than ever. We’ve got over 200 booths with handmade items from queer vendors, free resources, and services for everyone. We have a full lineup of entertainment, a variety of food trucks, activities, and much more. Celebrate the LGBTQIA2S+ community with us on Saturday, September 19th from 11 AM to 6 PM at Riverfront Park in Salem, OR.

  • Inclusive Leadership Summit (Salem/Virtual)

    OSAC’s annual Inclusive Leadership Summit brings together self-advocates, family members, professionals and state leaders. Join us for an afternoon of insightful presentations, engaging discussions, and networking opportunities focused on topics important to Oregonians with I/DD. Breakfast and lunch are included in your ticket if attending in person (limited number of tickets available). There are also tickets available for attending the conference online as well. 

  • Movie Fun @ The Elsinore (Salem)

    Monthly Movie Fun at the Elsinore presents Ice Age (2002). This is part of a special series of free movies for adults experiencing disability. Qualifying adults are clients of Marion or Polk county DD Services, Resource Connections of Oregon (RCO), or Integrated Services Network (ISN). The password is available from each adult’s case manager and will remain the same for all movies in this series.  Captions will be on and the volume will be reduced compared to other movie showings to respect and make welcome those with sound sensitivities. Movies in the series will take place every third Tuesday at 1pm through June 2027. 

  • Fun with Legos (Salem)

    This is a fun afternoon to come build a project with Legos (which you get to take home and keep). Legos and light snacks/drinks will be provided. Please register using the link provided.  

  • Sensory Friendly Movie – Forgotten Island (Salem)

    Join the Autism Society of Oregon (sponsored by DSP Connections) for a sensory friendly private screening of Forgotten Island. This is a smaller capacity theatre to allow for less over stimulation. This is a friendly inclusive space accessible to all. There are a limited number of wheelchair seats available. Headphones and fidgets will be available, there will be bean bags for crash pads, weighted plushies to snuggle if needed, sounds will be lower, and there will be a little lighting to make it a more welcoming space. Open captioning will also be provided. No Previews- Movie starts promptly at 6pm.     Join NeuroNavigations Northwest for I/DD Adult Prom: Neon Nights, an inclusive celebration for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and those who identify as neurodiverse. October 22 and 23, 5:30pm–8:30pm at 1230 State St, Salem. Enjoy music, dancing, neon lights, snacks, drinks, prizes, and raffles (included with reservation). Calmer space and sensory items will be offered on-site separate from the dance room. Please choose one night per individual. Spots are first come first serve. $20 entry tickets. Support persons may attend free but must be limited to one per individual due to the building's capacity limits.
