Join the Autism Society of Oregon for a sensory friendly private encore screening of Spiderman: Brand New Day. This is a smaller capacity theatre to allow for less over stimulation. This is a friendly inclusive space accessible to all. There are a limited number of wheelchair seats available. Headphones and fidgets will be available, there will be bean bags for crash pads, weighted plushies to snuggle if needed, sounds will be lower, and there will be a little lighting to make it a more welcoming space. Open captioning will also be provided. No Previews- Movie starts promptly at 6pm. Use link to get tickets. |

Join The Connection Club for an afternoon of fun and friendship at the IKEBOX! They will have tons of board games, legos, and crafts available. Something for everyone! If you need support, please have your chosen support person attend with you. No onsite support professionals will be provided. They will have vouchers available to use at the coffee shop to purchase a beverage or snack item. |

Adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their caregivers are invited to come learn, create, and find community! PAL lasts one hour and usually follows this schedule: Sensory-friendly storytime with puppets, songs, and bubbles (15 minutes) September's themed group activity: Pick a karaoke song, perform and sing along together! (20-30 minutes) Creativity stations (adult coloring pages, Lego building) (15-20 Minutes) All materials provided. Registration is required. Please register each participant. Participants are asked to attend with a caregiver. An American Sign Language interpreter will be present whenever possible. Free. This program is supported by the Salem Public Library Foundation and the Friends of the Salem Public Library. This event will be presented in English. 1 event,The Pacific Northwest's largest Oktoberfest fills this small Willamette Valley town's streets with biergartens, a Grand Parade, and Northwest wines and microbrews each September. It's been running since 1966 and draws crowds many times the town's population. You can also see wiener dog races, a car show, the Glockenspiel, or shop the arts and crafts booths. |

We’ve got over 200 booths with handmade items from queer vendors, free resources, and services for everyone. We have a full lineup of entertainment, a variety of food trucks, activities, and much more. Celebrate the LGBTQIA2S+ community with us on Saturday, September 19th from 11 AM to 6 PM at Riverfront Park in Salem, OR. |

OSAC’s annual Inclusive Leadership Summit brings together self-advocates, family members, professionals and state leaders. Join us for an afternoon of insightful presentations, engaging discussions, and networking opportunities focused on topics important to Oregonians with I/DD. Breakfast and lunch are included in your ticket if attending in person (limited number of tickets available). There are also tickets available for attending the conference online as well.

Monthly Movie Fun at the Elsinore presents Ice Age (2002). This is part of a special series of free movies for adults experiencing disability. Qualifying adults are clients of Marion or Polk county DD Services, Resource Connections of Oregon (RCO), or Integrated Services Network (ISN). The password is available from each adult’s case manager and will remain the same for all movies in this series. Captions will be on and the volume will be reduced compared to other movie showings to respect and make welcome those with sound sensitivities. Movies in the series will take place every third Tuesday at 1pm through June 2027. |
