The ARC's second annual Self-Advocate Convention of Oregon is happening in Salem, OR June 11th-June 13th. This event is planned by advocates for advocates and their supporters. The schedule will include guest speakers, small group conversations, and networking time. Plus, theyโll have fun social activities like a karaoke party and group meals. Join Living Studios (Cornerstone Associates) at the Hallie Ford Museum of Art for a free All Abilities Art Making Workshop every 2nd Thursday of the month from 12 pm to 3 pm. The museum will be open and free for workshop participants. June's workshop, inspired by artwork in the Carl Hall Gallery, encourages participants to connect to other artists within the community by emulating their styles. This year the World Beat Festival is celebrating Turtle Island; the indigenous peoples of North and South America!
