Join Creating Opportunities for a dinner conversation with a panel of extraordinary advocates at our Raising Self-Advocates Dinner! The panel of self-advocates will discuss their experiences growing up with a disability. Other discussion topics will include parenting teens, analyzing a pre-adulting checklist, the importance of nurturing your child’s advocacy skills at any age, and strategies to help you through life’s “ups and downs”. Autism Society of Oregon (ASO) is holding their third annual autism walk in Salem. This will be a family-friendly, Autism-friendly event celebrating Autistic people and the Autism community, with proceeds to benefit ASO’s programs in the Salem Area! There will be a number of resource tables, including ISN, and opportunities to connect with others in the community. Registration this year is free!
