The Connection Club hosts Dinner and a movie night in Columbia City, in partnership with Alliance Services and Autism Society Oregon. Come enjoy a fun evening while meeting others and making connections. Oregon Council on Developmental Disabilities presents a DD Awareness Month event: a Virtual Self-Advocacy Panel Discussion Tues, March 17, 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM, or Tues, March 24, 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM Discussions will center around “Nothing About Us Without Us,” highlighting advocacy and meaningful representation by people with IDD in all spaces where decisions are made, and address barriers. Self-Advocacy Meeting Every 3rd Tuesday | 1:30–2:30 PM March Meeting: St Patrick's Day - Come wearing green and enjoy some refreshments with other Self-Advocates in the area. A Zoom link is also available for anyone who cannot attend in person. A monthly meeting for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and their families to build self-advocacy skills, confidence, and connection.
