Learn how to budget, save, build credit, and protect yourself from fraud—all while keeping your benefits safe. This class, How to Apply for SSI/SSDI Benefits for Adults, will be held June 17th at 12pm via Zoom. Click here to register. Learn about the difference between SSI and SSDI and get a clear overview of how to apply for these benefits. Leave with tips and strategies to help you throughout the application process. All classes are virtual and held in a supportive, inclusive environment. ASL interpretation available on request! Bring your questions! Each class is generally held every 2-3 weeks and led by a financial coach. These classes provide financial education designed to meet the unique needs of people with disabilities. Get tips and strategies on a variety of financial topics and leave with a clear idea of the next steps to take to help you reach your goals.

    Community Day in the Park (formerly Citizens Day) is an annual summer event hosted by the City of St. Helens in McCormick Park. Community Day is a day focused on making and strengthening community connections. It’s an opportunity for people to put down their cell phones, turn off the television, and enjoy a day of fun in a local park with friends and family. Activities are family-friendly, free, and designed for a wide age-range. Yearly activities include a free barbeque lunch, live music, lawn games, vendors, and more.
