Oktoberfest (Mt. Angel)

The Pacific Northwest's largest Oktoberfest fills this small Willamette Valley town's streets with biergartens, a Grand Parade, and Northwest wines and microbrews each September. It's been running since 1966 and draws crowds many times the town's population. You can also see wiener dog races, a car show, the Glockenspiel, or shop the arts and crafts booths.

Looking for a creative outlet or a place to work on your latest project? Join the Crafters Maker Space on the third Friday of every month from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Columbia Pacific Food Bank in St. Helens. Materials such as clay, paint, beading supplies, drawing materials, and other crafting tools are provided. Participants are also welcome to bring their own projects to work on in a welcoming, creative environment.
