Personal Support Worker
You are the employer.
Hiring: You interview and hire your workers
Managing support: You make the schedule and check on your workers. If needed, you can get support.
Training and oversight: Workers attend required orientation. You teach them about your needs and goals.

Employer Model Agency
The agency is the employer, but works with you.
Hiring: You pick your workers. The agency helps with paperwork.
Managing support: You and the agency manage workers together.
Training and oversight: You and the agency train and supervise workers. The agency hears your feedback.

Standard Model Agency
The agency helps with everything.
Hiring: The agency hires workers to fit your needs. If you want, you can help them.
Managing support: The agency makes schedules, finds backup workers, tracks progress and plans activities.
Training and oversight: The agency trains and supervises workers. You can get help from a supervisor at any time.
