    Monthly SPARC meetings are a wonderful way for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) to engage and connect with one another. By bringing people together regularly, SPARC helps to combat social isolation, which can be a significant challenge for many individuals with IDD. The themed activities—whether it’s a craft night, a talent show, or a game day—provide a natural and enjoyable way for friendships to blossom. Participants can discover shared hobbies, laugh together, and support one another in a safe and welcoming environment. Ultimately, these monthly SPARC meetings are more than just events; they are vital opportunities for growth and connection. They celebrate the unique contributions of each individual, empowering them to build meaningful relationships and feel a deeper sense of belonging. The changing themes ensure that the program remains dynamic, consistently offering new avenues for fun, learning, and genuine human connection.
