Yamhill Community Care Organization (YCCO) is hosting a family picnic in McMinnville. Join them for a picture-perfect day filled with sunshine, prizes, and a free family resource fair all while having a delightful picnic in the park. What can you expect: Access to local community resources. Games for children and adults to be played for a chance to win exciting prizes. McMinnville families will be provided a delicious meal by a proud sponsor of the YCCO Early Learning Hub Family Picnic, Mama Gordita’s Kitchen, located in Dallas, OR. Join Ampkwa Advocacy for the 2nd annual Missing and Murdered Indigenous Peoples (MMIP) walk! They are coming together to raise awareness to MMIP, support families, and continue the work of healing and prevention. They meet every first Wednesday of the month from noon to 1 p.m. No registration required. These events are facilitated by the Partnership and Accessibility Resource Unit. Date: September 3rd Time: noon to 1 p.m. How to attend: Use this link to open the Zoom meeting. They also invite you to send your questions or feedback ahead of time using the feedback form. You can fill it out in Arabic, English, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Somali, Spanish and Vietnamese. Deadline: Please send your questions by 8 a.m. on the Monday before the meeting. You don’t have to submit a question to attend the meeting. You can also ask new questions during the meeting. If they can’t answer your question during the meeting, a staff member will get back to you via email. If you want privacy, you can also ask them to respond by email.
