The panel of self-advocates will discuss their experiences growing up with a disability. Other discussion topics will include parenting teens\, analyzing a pre-adulting checklist\, the importance of nurturing your child’s advocacy skills at any age\, and strategies to help you through life’s “ups and downs”. \nThis in-person event will be hosted at the Willamette Heritage Center Dye House on Thursday\, May 22nd from 6PM – 8PM.
